A&P Mechanic
Role:
Crosswinds Aviation is an FAA Part 61 & 141 flight school seeking an experienced full-time, 2nd
shift, A&P Mechanic. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter that would be responsible for
performing immediate and scheduled maintenance on our fleet of aircraft across 5 locations. Candidate
for this role would participate in building a full-service maintenance department, with multiple
mechanics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on flight school aircraft.
- Inspect, service, repair and return to service IAW all applicable airworthiness requirements.
- Research various FAA and manufacturer manuals, publications, Service Bulletins and
Airworthiness Directives.
- Order parts as necessary.
- Be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair airframe and engine related issues.
- Properly complete all required documentation in accordance with Crosswinds and FAA
requirements.
- Mentor multiple mechanics at various experience levels.
- Perform daily scheduled and on-call maintenance that is assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A&P certification
- Valid Driver’s license
- 3 years maintenance experience
- Flexible to work holidays, weekends, and nights.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and show evidence. U.S. residents only.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Inspection Authority (IA).
- Diamond and Cessna Aircraft experience.
- Maintenance Lead, or Crew Chief experience.
