Full Time: 8am-4pm (Monday – Friday), hourly $16-$18, non-exempt Location at Airport: Onsite:  Primary KOZW – (Howell, MI), KLAN (Lansing, MI), KFNT (Flint, MI), KPTK (Waterford, MI), KYIP (Belleville, MI) Company: Midwest Air LLC, dba Crosswinds Aviation We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant to the Aircraft Readiness Facilitator. This role is essential in supporting our maintenance operations and ensuring our aircraft are always ready for flights. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to work in a dynamic aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular parts audits to maintain accurate inventory.
• Deliver and properly store parts at all locations.
• Maintain organization of parts, consumables, and supply cabinets across facilities.
• Track and manage CORE parts returns.
• Restock pilot and aircraft consumables (oil, circuit breaker clips, etc.).
• Coordinate with salvage for red-tagged parts disposal.
• Handle shipping of parts and tools as required.
• Monitor and maintain calibrated tooling and asset tags.
• Prepare and ship Blackstone oil samples and complete required documentation.
• File and track FAA Form 337s.
• Assist with hangar cleanliness and organization.
• Manage part warranties (LED lights, magnetos, fuel pumps, starters, alternators).

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple locations.
• Basic knowledge of aviation maintenance operations (preferred, but not required).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport parts between airports with company vehicle
• Comfortable with computer systems for tracking documentation and parts.
• Reliability and commitment to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Minimum HS Diploma or GED

• Warehouse experience
• Inventory Background/Experience
• Automotive parts experience a plus, not a requirement.
